Internet en muziek is best een dingetje. Ik weet nog niet precies hoe het zou moeten werken, maar het lijkt mij dat de traditionele platenmaatschappijtjes het nog niet zo lekker aanpakken. Dikke kans dat jij denkt dat je met Rihanna messaged op Myspace, maar daar gewoon een PR intern op zit. Beetje jammer.

Dan deze dude: Lil B, frontman van The Pack. Omdat hij meer tracks had dan in zijn Myspace playertje paste maakte hij maar on the regular nieuwe profielen aan. Inmiddels is hij bij 114 aangekomen:

"The 19 year old Pack frontman currently maintains 114 myspace pages (not accounting for the “SECRETE” [sp] pages he hints at in blog posts) all launched over roughly the last eight months and each showcasing five or six original songs and freestyles. He calls them “NOVELTY PAGES”, but that’s a disservice to the music within. The pages are numbered chronologically and listening to them in order is like reading an abandoned space journal, a slow descent into madness. Except it’s the good kind of madness."

Anders gooi je gewoon alles wat je hebt op straat. Good read omdat zijn profielen samen een soort tijdslijn door zijn muzikale ontwikkeling vormen:
